Scholarships
ÌýAcademic scholarships are available to students joining us in Year 7.Ìý Exceptional students applying to BIS for entry to our Sixth Form may also be considered for scholarship.
The Year 7 Scholarship
Scholarships covering up to 100% of fees are offered and, subject to continued academic performance and positive contribution to the school community, are awarded for 5 Years
Process:
As part of the standard application process you may indicate that you wish your child to be considered for scholarship.
All scholarship candidates MUST take the entrance test in November.
Test results will be used to select which scholarship applicants will be invited to interview and to take further assessments.Ìý This second selection round takes place on the same day as the January entrance test.
Successful candidates will then be interviewed by members of the Education Board.
An offer of scholarship will be made in writing and must be accepted within 14 days.Ìý After this time BIS reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship offer.
